He first became certified in Orthopedic Massage, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Kinesio Taping, Functional Movement Systems, and Myofascial Release. It is the combination of all these therapies that allows him to help those in need. Anthony is known for his Myofascial Release skill.

He was the FIRST therapist, massage or any other, to begin a full-time Myofascial Release treatment practice in Montgomery.

Jacob Laputka, LMT

Jacob began his career aspirations with a general interest in nutrition, hoping to provide others with a holistic approach to health and wellness. However, when looking into schooling on the subject in 2006, not many opportunities were widely available. So, after some deliberation, the field of massage therapy seemed like a great fit to enter into holistic care, and it quickly changed Jacob’s entire life path for the better.

In May of 2006, Jacob moved to Utah to attend UCMT, the Utah College of Massage Therapy, which had been teaching massage therapy for over 20 years. The program that UCMT offered at that time was considered one of the best in the industry, and Jacob far exceeded expectations by graduating top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and numerous high honors.

As part of the main curriculum at UCMT, Jacob was introduced to Structural Integration, a targeted therapy intended to improve the body’s pain and movement imbalances through the viewpoint that the body should be treated as a whole system, rather than just treating specific symptoms. This holistic approach to treating physical ailments became Jacob’s primary specialization, which he brought to the Montgomery area in 2008, when he moved back to live near family and expand his career path.

Now, over 17 years later, and after helping hundreds of people change their lives for the better, Jacob is still continuing to grow his knowledge and understanding of pain, dysfunction, and the improvement of health by expanding into movement therapy and corrective exercise with Functional Patterns, in hopes of providing his clients with a life-long solution to pain and physical problems
