Why "Hands-on" Healing?

There is Always a Cause to Pain

Not long after we opened our doors, we discovered clients were in search of a therapist with the ability to provide more than just a regular massage.

Most individuals are looking for relief, not only from this stressful world, but also from the everyday aches and pains of the human body.

Unfortunately, most of us have not been adequately taught the best ways to deal with the dysfunctions of our bodies.

Fortunately, Hands On Healing can help!

More Than Massage

What Sets Us Apart?

There are many Montgomery area day spas and massage studios where you can receive massage, so why choose Hands On Healing?

The difference is in the way we approach massage as an actual therapy.

At Hands On Healing, our therapists all have a common goal in mind.

We understand the desire for a completely relaxing massage, yet we also know if we can change the structure of your body you will be able to function better on a daily basis, both mentally and physically.

A Comprehensive Approach

What to Expect When You Arrive

At Hands On Healing, we take care of our clients from start to finish. Prior to your first appointment, we'll ask you to complete a short Confidential Health History.

During your first visit, the therapist will:

  • Thoroughly evaluate your current condition
  • Address specific problem areas
  • Discuss expected results

Your therapist then customizes the massage or bodywork session to achieve the best results on the day of your appointment. We may use more than one massage technique during a session. Each massage session takes place on a specially designed table that provides stability and comfort. While it is necessary to remove specific articles of clothing, we keep the client appropriately covered at all times throughout the session.

Benefits of Manual Therapies

The overall benefits of massage and bodywork include but are not limited to:

  • General relaxation
  • Alleviation of muscular pain
  • Easing tension and headaches
  • Stress relief
  • Reduction of anxiety
  • Postural alignment
  • Tension relief created by "compensation"

These factors represent only a small fraction of the potential benefits offered by bodywork therapy. We are challenged and succeed every day helping people with chronic pain!
